The dream started the way it always did, with piercing blue eyes gazing at her. She wasn’t sure why these strange eyes had haunted her dreams but they had done so every night for as long as Violett could remember. A calmness washed over her, soothing her soul. She knew these eyes - how she knew them she didn’t know, and wouldn’t know for another few years. This was only the beginning.

i think i want to start writing. 

not like this, but actual writing - a novel perhaps.

sometimes i lay awake at night and hold a pillow, pretending that it’s you.

it feels better pretending that you are there, then it does to feel alone.
